Last night our troop completed their fall service project- we made bags for the homeless- each bag contains 2 cans of soup, socks, gloves, hats, scarves and toiletries.  And a card drawn by one of our Otters.  Each age group brought items, and every child there helped with packing the bags.  The otter brought soup and placed it in the bags first.  The Timberwolves brought socks, and worked on folding them together before adding pairs to each bag, then pathfinders added the other items they had and sorted those so each bag got some of each thing we had.

Yesterday, our troop bridged 3 otters up to timberwolves, and one timber wolf moved up to pathfinders.  Our pathfinders built the bridge the scouts crossed in the ceremony.

Scott Hudson replied to Clint Vallee's discussion Chapeaux (Hats)
"That is correct. The availability at local surplus stores and their typical sale pricing, as well as the large shipping charges to/from the QM Store, made them impractical to stock. Other options will be investigated in the short term, with the long…"

Ethan Jewett replied to Clint Vallee's discussion Chapeaux (Hats)
"My understanding is that when Hudson stocked hats, a high percentage were returned because they did not fit quite right, and the end result was that QM consistently lost money on them. I believe that this will be revisited in light of an…"
