I'll order some leather and make up kits for this.

My try out of bushman thongs made of 550 paracord (up) and leather (down).

I have paracord available as well. Which would be preferred?

I can get round 2mm leather thong, or 1/8" leather lace. And, pretty much any color paracord.

My group has no Pathfinders so I could not correctly answer you.  The Pathfinder thong awards consist of a different color or material for what was earned.  I imagine both leather for the Bushman and the required colors for the others.  Thanks.

Based on my reading, I believe, round leather in a dark brown to black , was at one time traditionally used for the thongs  reccommended by B.P.
