"We have a few hammocks (ENO Doublenest) as the kids LOVE them; however, one hammock with all the accoutrements for sleeping (netting and rain-fly) is well over $200, for each kid!!"

"Thanks for the post. I know you mentioned hammocks already, but that is the best that I found.  Hammock, drape bug cloth over it, and have a light weight rain fly over that.  The only problem I have found with that, and it gets a bit humid…"

I am a web-developer, outdoor enthusiast, linux tinkerer, recycled-materials project builder who lives in a small town in Central California with my wife and son.

I do not belong to a BPSA group at the moment. I am interested in forming one in my area.

"We did not make the pride flag ourselves. It was loaned to us by my ex in-laws for this event. It is on a short pole for display on a house, so we lashed it to another pole to make up the height difference."
