Profile Information

Are you a member of a current BPSA group? If so, which?
I live with my partner, our 3 school age children, and 1 cat. I also have an older daughter in college. I have worked in the field of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) for 13 years, but currently working on writing children books on the environment. In my spare time, I would describe myself as explorer as quite often I am either off digging for fossils, investigating the seabed and wilderness, or pondering what life might look like as I gaze at the night sky. In addition, I love to spend time volunteering with my son’s elementary Math Olympiad as a fourth grade teacher, King County Parks and Recreation as a beach naturalist, and PAWS wildlife center as a wildlife transporter and care attendant.
Are you interested in starting a new BPSA group?
None currently. My partner and I would like to start one in snohomish county.
Any previous scouting background?
No
