"I received one of the mystery boxes and was less than thrilled. Some of the items in it were Wal-Mart items such as a Coghlan stove. That being said, they are learning on the fly and hopefully will improve the value of the boxes. I've had…"

Joshua Lowe replied to Susan Aldridge-LaVigne's discussion Combining groups?
"So if I'm trying to start a group with a 10, 12, and 14 year old I might be able to have them all as Pathfinders? That would make things a little easier with my attempt to start a group."

Profile Information

Are you a member of a current BPSA group? If so, which?
I am a former Boy Scout and military veteran. My father was in the military so I was fortunate enough to live in various states, as well as Germany.

Currently I hold degrees in Law Enforcement (AAS), Intelligence Studies and Technology (AAS), Criminal Justice (BA), Digital Cinematography (BS), and Legal Studies (MA). Over the course of my short military career I also completed Airman Leadership School and Enlisted Undergraduate Space Training.
Are you interested in starting a new BPSA group?
Currently looking to start chapter in the Dayton, OH area.
Any previous scouting background?
I was a Boy Scout in Troop 827 of the Conquistador Council in New Mexico. The troop folded shortly after and we all joined Troop 832. In approximately 2 years I attained the rank of Star Scout and went through the Order of the Arrow ordeal. Currently, I serve in an adult role for the Boy Scouts of America as an Assistant Scoutmaster and Venturing Crew as an Associate Advisor.
